I am partial to a warm summer’s day in a hide on the crows. These days are somewhat of a break compared with those freezing mornings when you can’t feel your fingers, though the winter months do provide more fieldsports opportunities. However, relaxing in the sun with the only disruption being the occasional quarry isn’t a bad way to spend a day.
Once again, the crow population was causing disruption and damage for the farmer and I received a call asking me to try to tip the scales in his favour. My aim was to thin out their numbers
