s the new Contributing Editor for the “Emergency Communications” column, I’d like to welcome you to column. This is not my column, it is yours, the readers’, and I am merely the editor. Oh, I will probably have a lot to say, some of which you may agree with, and some maybe not; however, it is you, the reader, who will tell me what you want to read about. I am soliciting your ideas, questions, and possible topics. I want to hear from you what topics interest you. What questions do you have? If you’ve got a question on something, you can bet someone else has a similar query. So, don’t be afraid to speak up! Admittedly, I won’t have an answer to every question, but I can certainly try to find one. I have been “around the barn for a while,” so to speak, 60 years as a ham, and I’m still learning.
