ALL EYETOYS ON YOU

Before PSVR brought more affordable immersive gaming to us all on PS4 (never mind PSVR2 and PS5), PlayStation 2 witnessed the birth of EyeToy. It might seem quaint now, but in 2003 that little camera left us open-mouthed at the possibilities it offered for a new era of gaming.

We plugged in our cameras and waited patiently for the glowing dots to dance away on the home screen, not truly knowing what was in store. Little did we know that EyeToy would put us in the driving seat – literally. The idea of using our own bodies to control the game was revolutionary. It may have been superseded, but we still have a soft spot for it, so here are the games you shouldn’t miss revisiting if you dig yours out for a play session.
