Supporters of off-road bakkies and those of 4x4 station wagons both argue that one is better than the other when it comes to adventures beyond our country’s borders. Bakkies are especially suitable for carrying cargo – you are, after all, loading a bunch of camping gear for your epic fishing expedition to the Kunene Mouth.

On the other hand, an SUV focuses more on the comfort of its passengers, and this is also important – especially on a journey that will last a number of weeks.
