I just thought the pick-up would look good with something on the back
It was at the Supernats last year that we first met up with Ollie and Tom Geis and started talking tanks. They had hauled their first one up there from their base in west Kent on the back of what appeared to be a ’56 Ford COE transporter, but turns out to be a Winnebago in disguise.
These guys were clearly up to something.
Meeting up at dad, Tom’s, Eagle Autos workshop, we were confronted by a veritable fleet of belly tanks, and each one of them different to the next. What we liked most about them, however, is the approach to building them, and the unusual powerplants within.
