Death of the car driver

IT’S been quite a while since I wrote about JLR in this column. In fact, my most recent comments on the company were in relation to the resignation of Group Engineering boss, Nick Rogers, at the end of last year. As you will remember, the story broke when spotted a post on Nick’s personal LinkedIn account. The usual method of announcing such an important departure would be an official company press release, so a pre-emptive post on social media was certainly eyecatching and led many to wonder exactly what was going on in JLR’s boardroom.
