CARTER’S STEAM FAIR FOR SALE!

Well, as they say, all good things have to come to an end and so it was with great sadness that many of us will have heard the announcement from Joby Carter that the wonderful Carter’s Steam Fair is up for sale.

Coming as it did ahead of the fair’s flagship spring May bank holiday event at Pinkneys Green in Berkshire, social media channels have been awash with support and sadness about the family’s decision to finally call time on travelling the world’s sole surviving vintage steam funfair.
