There has been so much going on on the sales scene this month it’s been difficult to know where to start and finish, but the big news was really in the USA when on Thursday 21 April at the Pre-1930 Aumann Auctions sale a 1913 Case 30-60 tractor sold for £1,172,281 ($1,470,000) - yes you did read that correctly over one million pounds, the highest ever paid for a preserved tractor! We had various records broken on the tractor scene here in the UK, but not in that league!

Staged on Sunday 10 April at 1pm the annual Bonhams Goodwood Members Meeting sale was as always very interesting. In fact there were buyers for all of the 16 Aston Martins offered with top lot being the two-owner 1964 DB5. Running but needing some recommissioning, the two-owner car went on to sell for an amazing £506,000, some £156,000 above its top estimate.
Of interest to Old Glory readers was the 1902 MMC 10hp twincylinder rear-entrance Tonneau, No. 614, DR 14. The important, but short-lived, marque the Motor Manufacturing Company was all part of the rather dubious
