Building a palace fit for a grafter

The cacophony of skylarks and peewits has been replaced by the chorus of blackbirds above my small, terraced garden. It’s a time to relax and recuperate after a long season but, more importantly, to implement plans for the future. To quote the late Steve Jobs, “if you look closely, most overnight success took a long time”. The same can be applied to my dogs and ferrets.

Success doesn’t happen overnight, it takes time and effort. Sometimes the boring jobs are the foundations for the day-to-day
