MEET THE TRAINER

KATE COWELL is an international dressage rider, based in Malvern, Worcestershire. Alongside competing, Kate also trains riders and produces horses up to grand prix level.

MEET THE HORSE

HENRY is an eight-year-old Connemara x Arab. With his owner Cheryl Brierley, he competes in affiliated dressage up to novice level and is training at elementary level. He also enjoys hacking. The pair are a new partnership and still getting to know one another.

ONE OF THE great things about dressage is that anyone and any type of horse can enjoy it. With the right training and practice, it is possible to earn good marks for your test regardless of your horse’s size, breed or ability.
