Trim box hedges

Get the shears out and give box hedges a trim. Choose a dry, overcast day when the box plants are under least stress and trim lightly to keep the growth robust against the ravages of box blight and box tree caterpillars. Keep the blades flat to the face you’re trimming and stand back regularly to check the line or use a taut string guide.
