NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS did Jessica Eggleston dream that she would be selling her home in Melbourne and moving her young family to Tasmania, let alone buying a beach house, but in 2019 a chain of events began that set her on exactly this path.

“It’s a bit of a funny story,” says Jessica, a criminologist and psychologist. “We’d been living in Yarraville and loved it, so the decision to move to Tasmania came quite out of the blue. I was doing sleep school with our youngest, and my husband, Fred, walked in been amazing.”
