Keeping the rain out is a priority in winter, because being wet and cold is a really easy way to ruin your whole day.

Although the choices available seem never-ending if you start looking at what gear is available, staying dry on a bike really comes down to just a few options:

• Waterproof pants, jacket or suit over your everyday riding gear
