Dream pony shines over fences

RUBY WARD stepped down to 143cm ranks to claim her first Royal Windsor working hunter pony title, scoring with her consistent British Show Pony Society (BSPS) winter championships Gold Cup hero, Noble Ronan. This athletic sevenyear-old not only jumped clear over a testing course, but scored 20/20 for style to drop just three marks from the 100 available.

“The champion was a lovely cut of a pony and really lowered to gallop, ” said judge David Bartram-Lawson. “Its jumping was fantastic and it just shone.”

Lisa Kelly’s track was universally praised.
