At a basic level, fast fashion is defined as ‘inexpensive clothing produced rapidly in response to trends’. The issue is not only reserved to online stores, who release thousands of new garments each week, unfortunately, the retail industry is rife with unethical fashion production and some of the biggest culprits might surprise you. Take a walk down your local high street and you’ll see examples of fast fashion everywhere.
