Beamish steam gala a winner!

BEAMISH Museum’s April 9/10 steam gala exceeded all expectations, with about 8500 attending over the two days.

The event saw home-based replica running on the 1820s Pockerley Waggonway and Head Wrighton 0-4-0VB , Peckett 0-4-0ST No.1370 of 1915, the replica Lewin 0-4-0 No. 2 and Barclay 0-4-0WT No. 1994 of 1931 on the Colliery railways.
