  Xbox owners got to worry about whether the imminent launch of the Xbox 360 meant a premature end for the big black box, with Microsoft’s head of UK Xbox marketing assuring users that “all the major publishers will continue to release lots of great games for a long time to come”. PlayStation enthusiasts worried over whether they’d really be using a big boomerang with buttons to play their next console, with the   claiming that “nothing screams ‘the future of games’ more than the silver banana here”. that, “ will be out in the UK by November and, by the looks of things, the game is set for a simultaneous worldwide release.”
