• Gingham fabric: 75x100cm, red
• Stranded cotton: 1 skein each of green, red, dark yellow and light yellow
• Embroidery hoop: 10cm diameter
• Sewing machine with standard foot
• Machine thread: 1 spool of white
• Basic embroidery kit

STITCHES USED

Backstitch, Satin Stitch

01 Begin by cutting your gingham fabric into the following pieces:

Placemat: 42x37cm

Napkin: 19x23cm

Ruffles: 9x100cm x3

Make sure you cut along the horizontal and vertical lines of the gingham pattern or your work might appear
