How do you decide what to write about?

I have a sense of what topics have the ability to connect with different people. I’ll think, and sometimes it happens in the middle of living it. I do know, in my own life, what constitutes a But my life is chock-full of “no.” I say no constantly. And it’s the yes that’s specific, and that’s always where the story is. It’s just like going through a door. You don’t talk about the 7,000 closed doors you pass on any given day. You talk about the one that opened.
