That changed in 1994, when a woman was tapped to into the new millennium. Ironically, as more men embrace the domestic arts (most of my friends’ husbands rule the kitchen; see page 73 for our survey, “State of the American Home 2022”), we women have finally taken the helm at this iconic magazine that has helped us all with our “housekeeping” for over 135 years.
