Stonor Park sits a mere five miles from Henley-on-Thames, one of England’s loveliest towns. Yet Stonor’s own heart-stopping beauty lies firmly in the natural world. Enfolded within the Chilterns, hugged by beech woods, this historic estate is the domain of red kite, buzzard, hare, badger and deer.
No one could be more appreciative of that country setting than the Honourable William Stonor, his wife Lady Ailsa, and their three children. They spent 12 years living in Delhi and Beijing – where William was working in finance - before coming back to take over the house in 2016.
