ANS OF ALEX LIFESON’S GUITAR PLAYING with Rush should not approach the debut album from his new project as any kind of continuation of the iconic power trio’s work. If anything, this album shares the adventurousness of the best music from Lifeson’s previous band, but the connections end there.
