READY TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT? Let’s make a scatter graph of the heights and weights of all the bulldogs, chihuahuas, and greyhounds in one city. Here, one point represents one dog. The height and weight values form the point’s coordinates.
On the graph, you’ll see three distinct clumps of points, one for each breed. That’s because each breed tends to grow to about the same size. Do stars clump together into different “breeds,” too?
