Quilt-as-you-go (QAYG) techniques are useful to know. There will come a time when you want to tackle your quilting in bite-size pieces. This can be for several reasons. Maybe your project is just too big to handle, and a little help is needed to avoid the sport of quilt wrestle. Sometimes the desired quilting design can be very intricate and easier to tackle in smaller sections. It is often more pleasurable to approach those intricate designs in small manageable pieces.
