ANNA FREBEL
Anna Frebel is an Indiana Jones of space. Instead of hunting for ancient artifacts on Earth, she scours the universe for ancient stars. In fact, she has discovered several of the oldest known stars in our Milky Way galaxy. Frebel is an associate professor of physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), located in Cambridge. She has also written a book, Searching for the Oldest Stars.
