1. Create an outdoor room
Set up an al fresco living space with comfy seating, layers of soft furnishings and a place to dine. Pergolas or timber structures are ideal if you’re after some shade – simply hang a lightweight curtain and finish with some string lights for a twinkly evening ambience.
2. Add an insect hotel
Provide shelter for bugs or bees with an insect hotel. Just remember to install it in a spot where it won’t shake or sway in the wind.
