Desperate measures
Like all professional football teams, North London’s Arsenal feature sponsors on their team shirts. On their chests is the logo “Emirates fly better”, to show that they rely on Gulf money. Nothing special about that. Without funding from various autocracies, dictatorships and their cronies, the English Premier League would not enjoy the riches that draw star players from around the world.
