THE LURE OF BOAT FISHING

I’ve been fishing for bass using lures for well over forty years and I’ve been a keen lure angler as long as I can remember. When I started spinning in the 1970s most of my fishing was based around using the tried and tested ‘metals’ such as the ABU Toby and other similar spoons, various Meppstype lures, and the crude though effective German Sprats, not forgetting the various rubber sandeel imitations that have come and gone over the years.
