    GEORGE SIMON is riding JP’s six-year-old DSH Rosalita, a talented 16.1hh mare who’s got an exciting career as an eventer in front of her.

    GOING CROSS-COUNTRY safely, being able to tackle every type of terrain with confidence and making light of all the many and varied obstacles you’ll face, takes skill and lots (and lots) of practice — so this issue we’re heading out in to the jumping field with instructor and sports horse producer JP Sheffield. With years of experience as an international event rider behind him, JP has faced epic five-star courses, but he’s also a master at training more novice horses and riders
