It will be 30 years in September 2022 since I started my first job in the caravan industry as a staff writer at Practical Caravan magazine – the UK’s best-selling caravan magazine. That was a dream job for me as I’d grown up on family caravan holidays touring UK and the rest of Europe; also, my father worked in sales roles for a couple of suppliers to the caravan industry for several years, so my interest in caravanning became quite an obsession.
Eventually I moved on to a 15-year career in PR in the car industry, but always kept in touch with the caravan industry. My last corporate role was PR Manager for Volkswagen
