The RV sales market is tight right now, especially for the most popular and common 3500kg and 4500kg chassis models with average lengths of 7000mm. World sales for these types of RV have topped 45 per cent growth in some countries and demand is still strong. In New Zealand these models make up the majority of our market sales, in the main because you can drive vehicles up to 6000kg GVM on a car licence. Budget is also a factor when considering the purchase of these size/weight vehicles in our diverse market.

In the luxury liner market on a 7500kg GVM chassis, there are the German-built Morelo models. These start at a length of 7810mm, going up to 10,450mm with engine sizes from the 3.0L 132kW IVECO to the 12.8L 390kW Mercedes-Benz Grand Empire. For these you will need a Class 2 licence.
