Scope Cases & Cans of the German Wehrmacht

Snipers have caused havoc among enemy troops for hundreds of years. Though not at first a priority for Adolf Hitler in his grand campaigns of military offense, German snipers became a force to reckon with during the later stages of the war in Europe. As a way for snipers to protect their fragile optics, various scope cases, cans and covers were developed according to the technology and resources available as the war progressed.
