JAKE AND LOUISE SAYWELL kept it in the family as they claimed the coveted Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) places in the Foxhunter second round with two seven-year-olds.
Twenty-nine competitors came forward to face course-designer Neil Foster’s 11-fence track, with 15 producing first-round clears. Four were lost along the way in round two to give 11 for the final jump-off, both Jake and James Smith claiming two rides apiece.
