MATCHLESS Moments

In the early 1970s I bought a Ford Jeep to restore. My father and I had nearly finished this in 1975 when I went to work in Italy for a few months. On my return I met my wife (to be) and we decided to get married and buy a house together, which unfortunately did not have space for the Jeep. It went into storage in a relative’s garage until I made the decision to part with it. What to replace it with? Well, it had to be something military. Why not a motorbike? Less storage space needed!
