High demand for commodities fuels TWK’s profits

Diversified agriculture and forestry company TWK’s record half-year interim results were fuelled largely by high international demand for commodities and better trading conditions after the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was according to André Myburgh, managing director of that generally speaking, high prices worked in the company’s favour. For the six months ended 28 February 2022, TWK’s revenue increased 30,6% to R4,88 billion, up from R3,74 billion during the same period in 2021. Profit after tax grew 175,5% to R246,65 million (2021:
