My project

What I spent

Fitting of uprated front springs and air-assist rear suspension was £1,800 with recertification a further £300

How long it took

One day with Glide-Rite for the suspension upgrade and 45 minutes to complete the recertification and the paperwork for the DVLA

Project summary

Having peace of mind to know we can carry extra load safely and legally so we can tour with all food, full water and kayak, etc, on board

Being new to motorhoming, we bought our new Bürstner 744 Harmony Line three years ago, with the maximum loading being uprated by the manufacturer
