FEES AND LICENCES

Regarding the letters I’ve read that decry the imposition of excessive costs plucked out of the air by GP practices, I have been seeking the help of my MP. I consider the necessity of a medical certificate to be discriminatory; for instance, drivers of motor vehicles don’t need proof of mental stability to apply for or renew a licence, yet people are being killed on our roads every day. The same applies to dog licences, which were done away with yet people are being killed every year by dogs badly trained by careless owners.
