SONGS OF CONQUEST

Taking the strategy adventure concept and bringing it into the new millenium, Songs of Conquest just might be the kind of indie to start a genre revival. Backed by Satisfactory, Deep Rock Galactic, and Valheim publisher Coffee Stain, developer Lavapotion is rebuilding a strategy genre abandoned by the gaming mainstream.

Strategy adventure games haven’t wholly disappeared, what games so well-received, but there’s still something to be said for the concept of the old games. gets that, and it sets you up for the blend of tactical combat and strategic exploration that made those so beloved.
