GLOBAL COLOUR

Be transported around the world through the magic of gorgeous yarn with the brand-new project, ‘A Traveller’s Dye-ry’! It’s an exciting collaboration between photographer Jenny Anderson, seven Scotland-based indie dyers, and Jenny’s mother Janice, who owns the yarn shop Baa Wool in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire.

After returning from her travels around the world, Jenny invited seven dyers to create a unique colourway based on one of the countries Jenny had visited, using the photograph she had taken there. The dyers taking part are Shilasdair, Cosmic Strings, Ripples Crafts, Colliston Yarn, Henny Penny Makes, Cookston Crafts, and Giddy Yarns.

The beautiful, unique colourways they have developed will be displayed in a special exhibition in Stonehaven on 4-9 October,
