Full steam ahead at Damen

An exceptionally busy month for Damen Yachting has seen two Amels yachts launched, the keel laid on the first SeaXplorer 60 and construction start on a new 53-metre support vessel.

Showcasing Espen Øino’s design, the first Amels 60 was photographed leaving the shed at the Dutch builder’s yard in Vlissingen in preparation for her launch. Due for delivery this year, the new model’s first hull was commissioned by a repeat client and features a “metallic pebble grey” hull with a “Matterhorn white and super-jet-black superstructure”.
