NAIM MU-SO & MU-SO Qb WIRELESS SPEAKERS
We really shouldn’t pick favourite companies, but it’s hard not to love Naim, especially as it’s been a long long time since we’ve reviewed anything from the company which didn’t delight. Delight and surprise — another key characteristic of the company, whether it’s the announcement of a network streamer costing $41k or an amplifier costing $200k+, or the startlingly successful realisation of convenience plus performance in the Naim Uniti range of all-in-one systems.
But its greatest surprise of the last decade was perhaps in 2014, when the original Mu-so made its debut, and instantly became the standalone wireless speaker against which all others were compared. All the more kudos that six years on, with the Mu-so in its second generation, its leadership remains undimmed. Somehow this one-box speaker has retained Naim’s emphasis on audio excellence while shifting into a populace-pleasing product
