  Standout titles included the Russian-developed titles (2000), (2002) and (2003). Keeping up the British end was Jonathan Cauldwell, a programmer who’d previously written games that had appeared on magazine covertapes. He returned to the Spectrum scene and worked up a number of wonderful homebrew titles including (2002), (2004) and (2006). Fellow Brit Bob Smith was another prolific programmer, writing (2005), (2006) and (2008). Many of Jonathan and Bob’s games would receive physical releases by Cronosoft, an 8-bit publishing label established in 2002 by Simon Ullyatt.
