Eyelet embroidery is both a beautifully decorative technique, and a clever way to repair wear and tear in well-loved garments. It involves working stitches around the edge of a hole, either one caused by damage or one purposefully made to decorate the fabric. Each eyelet starts with a foundation of outlining stitches, around which your decorative stitches are added.
