4 Animal Magazines

Often, the writing publications I share in this column are focused on people doing very people-like things like business, travel, and hobbies. While there’s nothing wrong with that (I personally like people very much), let’s focus on animals this time around. After all, writers of all genres have found a great sense of inspiration and companionship with animals over the years.

We need our dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish, gerbils, hermit crabs, snakes, and turtles. So much so that there are whole magazines dedicated to animals that need and pay for animal-related writing. Here are a few to get you started.
