IN THE FRAME

A big thank you and congratulations to everyone who entered the Picture Book Prize 2021. To even write, finish and submit a story is a massive achievement.

This year we had an amazing 286 entries. Creating the longlist and shortlist was very difficult – a few times, stories were moved up and down, depending on our discussions. There were so many wonderful titles, but eventually we narrowed it down to a longlist, a shortlist, and finally our winning three.

Huge congratulations to our winners. Read on to find out more about the top three entries and the writers who wrote them.
