CUTTING THE COST OF YOUR BATHROOM

1 KEEP IT SIMPLE

The first and probably best known rule for saving money when renovating a bathroom is: if the layout works, don’t change it. Unless you absolutely can’t avoid it, try to put your new toilet, sink or bath in the same position as the old ones so that you don’t have to move the pipework. Complicated rearrangements of plumbing will cost you in labour and new parts, and that money could be better used on refreshing the things you can see.
