OK, let me preface this by saying, yes, like everyone else I am utterly thrilled and delighted that the luxury watch industry is experiencing a heretofore unknown level of success. As my friend the legendary Jean-Claude Biver said, “In my half century working in this industry, I have never seen a market like this. The opportunities in the watch industry are simply incredible.” And true to his word, a few weeks ago, he announced on Radio Télévision Suisse that he and his son Pierre Biver would be launching their eponymous brand, JC Biver.
