ANZACS on the ATTACK
After a couple of nightmare years of battling modified calendars, cancelled races and a pandemic that has stubbornly refused to faff off, 2022 is looking like a year where things hopefully come back to normal for our Australian and New Zealand riders overseas.
This year there’s a staggering number of ANZACs lining up for events on the world stage, and our chances of taking home some major international championships have never been higher –from Saudi Arabia to Europe and the US, we seem to have representatives in every major series.
After highlighting our motocross and supercross racers battling overseas last month, we’re now focusing on the enduro, rally and cross-country riders for this issue.
We’ll look at their form and results to date, and predict how they’ll handle the pressure-cooker racing environment when the stopwatches begin this year.
