Growing up on the outskirts of Bathurst in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, motorsport and racing was never far from my sights. From the family property I grew up on, you can see and hear the roar of V8 Supercars whenever they take to the world famous Mt Panorama racing circuit. As a child I often dreamt of racing a V8 Supercar in the famous Bathurst 1000 race and in front of the 170,000 spectators it brings to the sidelines. I realised pretty quickly that this was never going to happen as my motorsport path had me hooked on two wheeled dirt bikes and racing Flattrack.
