JOHN SCOTT’S sewing surgery

Q I want to create a capsule wardrobe for spring/summer. What should I make and where do I start?

A What a FABULOUS idea! When I was on ITV’s This Morning there were three areas that I championed – beautiful clothes for more voluptuous ladies, the John Scott Column of Colour and the ever-popular Capsule Wardrobe.

For those of you who are new to the term ‘capsule wardrobe’, well this) says about it: “A capsule wardrobe is a limited selection of interchangeable clothing pieces that complement each other. These are often classic pieces that do not go out of style and are primarily composed of neutral colours. A capsule wardrobe allows you to create a variety of different outfits with a small selection of clothes.”
